CLEVELAND, Ohio - Vernard A. Griffith, 50, of Boston Heights, died yesterday in Marymount Hospital, Garfield Heights. Born in Frostburg, Md., he was a son of Laura P. (McKenzie) Griffith, of 24 Frost Avenue, Frostburg, and the late William Griffith. He was a member of the VFW of Northfield, Boston Heights Fireman's Association, Northfield Fisherman’s Club and a veteran of the Air Force during the Korean War. Surviving are one daughter, Marilyne Griffith, and three sons, Michael Griffith and David Griffith, all of Solon, William Griffith; six brothers, George Griffith, Maryland; Robert Griffith, Boston Heights; Russell Griffith, Oakdale, Calif.; Joe Griffith and Clayton Griffith, both of Portsmouth, Va.; Blaine Griffith, Hagerstown, Md.; three sisters, Mrs. Verna Davis, Portsmouth, Va.; Mrs. Nancy Grant, Cumberland, Md., and Mrs. Jaine Cumiskey, Huntington,W.Va. Friends will be received at the Johnson Romito Funeral Home, 19 East Main Street, Hudson, Ohio, tomorrow. Services will be conducted in the funeral home Saturday at 1 p.m. by the Rev.
