- Frostburg, Jan. 18 — Funeral services for Reynold Thomas Crowe, 43, Finzel, Garrett county, who died Friday at Marine Hospital, Baltimore, where he had been a patient for one week, were held this afternoon from the Emmanuel M. E. Church at Johnson's, Garrett counly. Rev. Virgil R. Gillum, pastor, officiated. Interment was in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Mr. Crowe, a World War veteran, was inducted into military service, September 3, 1918, and after serving three months overseas, was honorably discharged January 15, 1919. Son of the late John and Ida Crowe, he was engaged in farming. He is survived by three brothers and four sisters, Gurney and Orville Crowe and Mrs. Lulu Wampler, Frostburg; Gilbert Crowe and Mrs. Pearl Griffith, Ben Bush, W. Va.; Mrs. Lela Coleman, Midlothian, and Mrs. Hazel Frost, Borden Shaft. The Cumberland Evening Times, January 16, 1939
