  Notes	Jelene A. Bridges, 82, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 17, 2017, at Cumberland Healthcare Center. Born Nov. 30, 1934, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Kathryn Gilpin. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Floyd L. Bridges; her brother, Harry Gilpin; and her sister, Helen Legeer. Mrs. Bridges was a graduate of Allegany High School. She was a homemaker and her greatest love in life was spending time with her family. She is survived by her sister, Thelma Saathoff; four children and their spouses, Ricky and Deb Bridges, David and Patty Bridges, Blaine and Annette Bridges, and Carla and Robby Moore; eight grandchildren, Nathan Bridges, Jeremy Bridges, Shane Edwards, Heather Bridges, Blaine Bridges, Caitlyn Moore, Angela Morgan, and Justin Morgan; nine great-grandchildren; and close family friend, Kenny Burley. There will be a private family service at Maryland State Veterans Cemetery at Rocky Gap. The family would like to thank everyone at Cumberland Healthcare Center for the excellent care given to Jelene over the last two and a half years.
