- FROSTBURG — Esco N. Garlitz, 79, of 624 Beall School Road, Frostburg, died Thursday, Feb. 2, 1995, in Frostburg. Born Oct. 15, 1915, in Frostburg, he was the son of the late Norman and Rhoda (Robeson) Garlitz. He was also preceded in death by three brothers three sisters. Mr. Garlitz was a retired electrician for the Kelly-Springfield Tire Company of Cumberland for 34 years. He was a social member of Farrady Post 24 American Legion. Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Flossie (McKenzie) Garlitz; three sons, Dale T. Garlitz and wife Sandra, Eckhart, Wayne A. Garlitz and wife Helen, Johnstown, Pa., and Blayne Garlitz and special friend Mary Cutter, both of Frostburg; one daughter, Margaret Kenney and husband James, Beall School Road; four brothers, Arvil, Clarence, and Raymond, all of Frostburg, and William, Hagerstown; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, Frostburg. Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Sunday at 1 p.m. with Msgr. John L. Reinsfelder officiating.
