. Frostburg, July 22 — Henry Finzel, 65, retired coal miner, died yesterday afternoon at his home, 219 Maple street, after a lingering illness. A member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, he is survived by his wife, the former Miss Lilly Machin, two daughters, Mrs. Gormer Jones and Mrs. Carl Skidmore, and three sons, Clarence, Walter and Joseph Finzel, all of Frostburg. He was a brother of Mrs. Arthur H. Hawkins and Mrs. Alice Goodwin, Cumberland; Mrs. Doll Baer and Mrs. Henry Knepp, Finzel; Miss Margaret Finzel, William, Thomas and Ira Finzel, this city, and Patrick of Washington. Walter L. FINZEL (Henry-3, Sarah Catherine MCKENZIE-2, John M.-1) was born about 1905 in Finzel, Garrett Co., Maryland. He died on 31 Oct 1964 in Frostburg, Allegany Co., Maryland. Frostburg - Walter L. Finzel, 5?, of East Main Street, died Saturday at Miner's Hospital. Born in Finzel, he was a son of Mrs. Lillie (Machin) Finzel and the late Henry L. Finzel. He was an employe of Amcelle Plant of Celanese Fiber Company. Besides his mother, he is survived by his widow, Mrs. Bertha Finzel; a son, Thomas G. Finzel, Barracksville, W. Va.; two sisters, Mrs. Violet Jones, Frostburg, and Mrs. Agnes Skidmore, Morantown; a brother, Joseph Finzel, San Jose, Cal., and two grandchildren. The body is at the Durst Funeral Home where a service will be conducted today at 11 a. m. by Rev. Harold B. Wright. Interment will be in the Addison, Pa., Cemetery.
