She died on 22 Jan 1907 at the age of 84 in Preston, Filmore Co., Minnesota. The family went to Minnesota about 1857. His brother Jerry and a Nedrow family made up a party of 14, who came from Pennsylvania by covered wagon. They crossed the Mississippi River on a ferry at Lansing, Iowa. There, three of the children, Elizabaeth, James and Lydia came down with typhoid. They stayed the winter with the Sam Shuck family.
