    WILEY FORD, W.Va. - Edward "Sandy" Brent Dyche, 79, of Wiley Ford, died peacefully on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center. Born March 27, 1939, Mr. Dyche was the son of the late Woodward Dyche and Helen (Crosby) Dyche. A graduate of Allegany High School, Class of 1957, Sandy attended Fairmont State College for two years and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps serving six years in the reserves. Being an avid sports fan, Sandy followed all the local football teams and enjoyed running. Sandy was one of the original members of the Queen City Striders Running club. He was an animal lover always feeling the need to rescue hurt or homeless cats and dogs. Sandy was employed at the Kelly-Springfield Tire Company for 25 years and went onto work at the Department of Juvenile Services retiring in 2001. Sandy is survived by his wife of 45 years, Barbara Dyche; his sons, Tim Dyche; Todd Dyche and wife, Suzi; his daughter, Tracy Fazenbaker; his grandchildren, Alex and Ethan; and his great grandchildren, Falon and Jeremy. He also leaves behind his brothers, Pat Wells, Terry Wells and wife, Loretta; his sister, Ann Combs and husband, Gregg; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home on Monday, Dec. 3, 2018, from 10 a.m. to noon. A funeral service will follow at noon with Pastor Gary Barkley officiating. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Military honors will be accorded at the cemetery by the Post 13 Veterans Honor Guard. The family would like to thank the staff of the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center and Frostburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, for the care and compassion given to Sandy; and a special thank you to the Haven Unit.
