FROSTBURG - Clifford Walls, 54, of 59 Walnut Street, died yesterday at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, where he was admitted last Thursday. Born in Grantsville, he was a son of John C. Walls and the late Jennie (Butler) Walls. He was a veteran of World War II and was employed at Allegany Ballistics Laboratory. He also was a member of Farrady Post 24, American Legion, and Mt. Lodge 99, AF & AM. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Harvey Weslow, of here; a son, Clifford A. Walls, here; five sisters, Mrs. Edna Urich, of Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Edith Keck, of Akron, Ohio; Mrs. Evelyn Hollada, of Rootstown, Ohio; Mrs. Julia Durst, of Salisbury, Pa., and Mrs. Pauline McCauley, of Elkins, W. Va.; four brothers, Bernard and David Walls, of Waynesburg, Ohio; Oscar, of Grantsville, and Paul, of Barberton, Ohio, and two grandchildren. The body is at the Durst Funeral Home where friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A service will be conducted there tomorrow at 10:30 a. m. Rev. William E. Price will officiate, and burial will be in Grantsville Cemetery. The Cumberland News, November 23, 1966
