. Helen Marie Broadwater, 57, of 229 Greenville Road, Salisbury, died Oct. 29, 2000 at Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born March 29, 1943, in Avilton, Md., she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Melva (Broadwater) Crowe. Survived by her husband, Forrest E. Broadwater; one daughter, Lori Kim Gray and husband, Jeff, Salisbury; one step-daughter, Elaine Doto, and husband, Dan, Phoenix, Ariz.; two sisters, Diona Broadwater, Avilton, Arlene Morris, New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; and one granddaughter, Brooke Elise Gray. Member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She was a homemaker. Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., Grantsville, Md. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in St. John's Lutheran Church with the Rev. David E. Fetter officiating. Interment will be in Salisbury Cemetery.
