FROSTBURG - Jacob L. Fresh, 85, of 2154 East Market Street, Akron, died yesterday following a short illness. He was born in New Germany, Garrett County, and lived there and in Frostburg most of his life. A member of Salem United Church of Christ here and the Knights of Pythias, Mr. Fresh was a retired Kelly Springfield Tire Company worker. Surviving are his widow, Laura (Miller) Fresh, three daughters, Mrs. Mildred Watkins, Mrs. Mabel Watson and Mrs. Grace Jenkins, all of Akron; two sons, Wilbur Fresh, Wheeling, and Carl L. Fresh, Frostburg: two brothers, Asa Fresh, Mexico Farms; and Albert Fresh, Houston, Texas: eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The body is at the Kessler Funeral Home, Market Street, Akron, where services will be held tomorrow at 2:30 p. m. Interment will be in Ellet Memorial Park, Akron.
