Born in Frostburg, she was the daughter of Charles and Martha (Phillips) Kerr, Frostburg. She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ and the Women's Guild of the church. Surviving, besides her parents and husband, are three daughters, Dawn, Debbie and Doris Ann Wright, all at home; one son, Robert Wright, Jr., at home; two brothers, Charles Kerr and J.
