Mount Savage, MD - Nicky Allen Linn, 53, of Mount Savage, MD, passed away Friday, February 13, 2015, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. Born November 22, 1961, in Cumberland, MD, Nicky was the son of the late Thomas Joseph Linn and Othalia Alma (Hamilton) Linn. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Judy Ann Linn; a sister-in-law: Bonnie Linn; two brothers-in-law, Ronald Tharp and Rick Boner and a nephew, Jeffrey Allen Gallen. Nicky was a life member and bartender and was an active president of the Cumberland Outdoor Club. He was also a life member of the Good Fellowship Club and a member of the Piney Mountain Sportsman Club. He enjoyed camping, fishing, riding his motorcycle and four-wheelers. Nicky is survived by his wife of 27 years: Kathryn Ann (Sines) Linn; and his children: Kelsie Nicole Linn and fiancé, Tyler Greise; and Zachary Allen Linn and girlfriend, Brice Blankenship. He also leaves behind his brothers and sisters: Kulleena “Doll” Catherine Gallen and husband, Nick, Wiley Ford, WV; David Riley Linn and wife, Nina E. “Snook;” Ronald Alexi Linn; Thomas Gary Linn and wife, Leona all of Cumberland, MD; Linda Mary Linn and special friend, Terry Smith, Wiley Ford, WV; Sharon Tharp and friend, Charles Liller, Cumberland, MD; Sheila Rae Boner, Wiley Ford, WV; Vicky Sue Wilson and husband, James, Beans Cove, PA; and Terry Lee Linn and wife, Kim, Mount Savage, MD. Nicky is also survived by his in-laws: George and Patricia Shimer; a brother-in-law: Mark Allen Sines; a sister-in-law: Lisa Jean Snyder; 29 nieces and nephews; and numerous great nieces and great nephews; and his beloved pets: Cappy and Bella. A Celebration Nicky's Life with friends and family will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2015, at 3:00 P.M., at the Cumberland Outdoor Club.
