Eckhart - Mrs. Annie R. Myers, 82, of here, died Friday night at her home. She had been in ill health for six months. A native of Eckhart, she was a daughter of the late Keilly and Mary Logsdon Folk. Her husband, Charles Myers, preceded her in death. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Quintella Cunningham and Mrs. Loretta Haggis, both of here; three sons, Floyd Myers, at home; Clement Myers, Rawlings, and George Myers, Frostburg; three brothers, Charles Folk, of here, Roy Myers (sic), Slabtown, and John Folk, Cumberland; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Izzet, Slabtown; Mrs. Edna Rainer, Gilmore; Mrs. Hannah Leatherman, National; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The body is at the Durst Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at the funeral home tomorrow at 2 p.m. by Rev. William Anderson, pastor of the Eckhart Methodist Church. ECKHART — Mrs. Loretta Higgs, 59, of Piney Mountain Road, died yesterday at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland. A native of Barton, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Folk) Myers. Mrs. Higgs was a former employe of the Eckhart Elementary School cafeteria for 19 years. She was also a member of the Eckhart United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, Ezra J. Higgs; one daughter, Mrs. Betty Wotring, Cresaptown; three brothers, Clement Myers, Rawlings; George Myers, Frostburg, and Floyd Myers, Cumberland; one sister, Mrs. Rae Cunningham, Frostburg, and four grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, Frostburg, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A service will be conducted there tomorrow at 2 p.m. Rev. Jack R. Pease will officiate and burial will be in Eckhart Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Walter Tharp, Robert Shaffer, Wilmer Boar, Lewis M. Twigg, Thomas Brobst and Paul Cage.
