    FROSTBURG - John S. Klosterman, 70, died yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. William Festerman Jr., 89 Armstrong street. He was in failing health the past several years. A native of Eckhart, he was a son of the late Henry and Loretta (Zorns) Klosterman. His wife, Margaret (Lavin) Klosterman, preceded him in death. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. Surviving are five other daughters, Mrs. William Dundon, Mrs. Harold Plummer, Mrs. Robert Jacobs, and Mrs. Lawrence Beal, all of Baltimore, and Mrs. Arthur Bond Jr., here; two sons, Daniel Klosterman, Baltimore, and Leo Klosterrnan, Keyser; a sister, Mrs. Mary L. McDonald, Cumberland; three brothers, Joseph and Henry Klosterman, Cumberland, and Bernard Klosterman, Red Hill; 31 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. The body is at the Durst Funeral Home where friends will be received from 7 until 9 p. m. today and from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p. m. tomorrow. Requiem mass will be celebrated Thursday at 9:30 a. m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church and burial will be in the parish cemetery. The rosary will be recited at the funeral home tomorrow at 8 p. m.     FROSTBURG — Marshall H. Klosterman, 31, of 113 East Main Street, died yesterday in Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, where he was admitted about two weeks ago as a surgical patient. A veteran of World War II, Mr. Klosterman had been studying at the Allegany Trade School in Cumberland to become a machinist. His mother was the late Margaret (Lavin) Klosterman. He held membership in St. Michael's Catholic Church. Surviving are his father, John Klosterman; two brothers, Daniel Klosterman, Frostburg, and Leo Klosterman, Piedmont, W. Va.; and seven sisters, Mrs. Angela Dundon, Baltimore, and Mrs. Mary Binnix, Mrs. Agnes Festerman, Mrs. Virginia Houst, Mrs. Nellie Plummer, and Misses Eloise and Patricia Klosterman, at home. Born in Frostburg, she was a daughter of John Klosterman and the late Margaret (Lavin) Klosterman. Mrs. Binnix was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church here. Surviving, besides her husband and father, are three sons, Harold J., David L. and James E. Binnix, all at home; three daughters, Mrs. Leon Lancaster and Mrs. William Rae, both of Frostburg, and Miss Diana Binnix, at home; two brothers, Leo Klosterman, Piedmont, and Daniel Klosterman, Baltimore; six sisters, Mrs. William Dundon, Mrs. Lawrence Beal, Mrs. Nellie Plummer and Mrs. Virginia House, all of Baltimore, and Mrs. William Festerman and Mrs. Arthur Bond, both of Frostburg, and six grandchildren.     FROSTBURG — Agnes Cecelia (Klosterman) Festerman, 86, of Grahamtown, died Thursday, April 22, 2010, at the Frostburg Village Nursing Care Center after a lengthy illness. Born Nov. 17, 1923, in Frostburg, Agnes was the daughter of the late John Klosterman and Margaret (Lavin) Klosterman. She was also preceded in death by husband William H. Festerman Jr.; one daughter, Sharon L. Richards and husband Ronald L.; one infant daughter, Jeanie Kay Festerman; one granddaughter, April Ann Richards; four brothers, Marshall, Francis, Leo and Daniel Klosterman; and four sisters, Nellie Plummer, Angela Dundon, Mary Binnix and Virginia Jacobs. Mrs. Festerman was a homemaker. She is survived by two daughters, Linda S. Craze, of Woodbridge, Va., and Mary Ann Schurg and husband Carl, of Midland; four grandchildren, James R. Craze and wife Cheree, of Severna Park, Aimee L. Craze, of Washington, D.C., LeAnn Dennison and husband Eric, of Frostburg, and Ronald Scott Richards and wife Laura, of Frostburg; and two great-grandchildren, Chris and Shawn Richards, of Frostburg. She is also survived by two sisters, Patricia Bond, of Frostburg, and Eloise Beal, of South Carolina; one niece, Tami Grimes and family; two nephews, Tom Bond and family and Billy Joe Bond and family, all of Frostburg; and special friends, Hetta Lohr and family, and Betty Knott. As per her wishes, Agnes’s body was cremated. A memorial service will be conducted at the Durst Funeral Home, P.A., 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Thursday, April 29, 2010, at 1 p.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services. Interment of her ashes and those of her husband’s will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.     FROSTBURG — Patricia A. (Bond) McKenzie, 74, of Frostburg, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012 at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center. Born Nov. 23, 1937 in Frostburg, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret (Lavin) Klosterman. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her four brothers, Marshall, Francis, Leo and Daniel Klosterman; five sisters, Nellie Plummer, Angela Dundon, Mary Binnix, Virginia Jacobs, and Agnes Festerman. She also lost a beloved son-in-law, Robert L. Grimes, in 2005. Pat was employed as a cashier at Martin’s in LaVale. She intended to work until she reached the age of 75, a milestone she missed by only three days. Energetic and youthful by nature, Pat never shied away from hard work. She loved her family and close friends fiercely and always welcomed children into her home, even after working long days. She was previously em-ployed at the Frostburg Medicine Shoppe, JC Penney, and as a LPN at Memorial Hospital. She also operated her own clothing stores in Frostburg and assisted her former husband of 47 years, Arthur Bond, in operating the Bond Economy Hotel at the LaVale Toll House for many years. She completed pharmacy technician training in 1991 through Allegany College of Maryland Continuing Education. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Frostburg Farrady Post 24; the Frostburg Fraternal Order of the Eagles Post 1273 Auxiliary; and the Frostburg Elks Lodge 470 Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving is her husband, Don McKenzie and their pet Chico; sister, Eloise Beal, South Carolina; as well as her three children, Tom Bond and wife Mary, Tami Grimes and friend Charlie Spiker, and Bill Bond and wife Carolyn. Pat had five grandchildren and four great grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Her grandchildren are Arthur Thomas Bond III, Bryon Bond, Shanon Hosken, Brittany Bond, and Abbey Bond Brodie. Spouses of the grandchildren include Jamie Hosken, Step-hanie Bond, and Corporal Braxten Brodie. Her four great-grandchildren are Halle Bond, James Hosken, Tess Bond, Isabella Bond, and one due in May. He was formerly employed with Bond Home Improvement Center, Frostburg, where he worked for 45 years. Mr. Binnix was a former member of the Sons of the American Legion and Eagles Aerie 1273, Frostburg. Surviving are his ex-wife, Shirley (Carder) Binnix, Cumberland; two daughters, Beverly McKenzie and husband Gary, Cumberland, and Cindy Evans, Cumberland; eight grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Jo Dorsey, Peg Rae, both of Cumberland, and Dion Nicol, Lonaconing; two brothers, Dave Binnix, Frostburg, and Jim Binnix, Cumberland; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is survived by her husband, Eugene Nicol; four children, Ken Staggs and wife, Marsha of Frostburg, Donna Bittner and husband, Eric of Flintstone, Debbie Barton and husband, Doug of Oldtown, and Aaron Staggs of Frostburg; five grandchildren, Shayna Staggs, Kayla Staggs, Eryc Bittner, Austin Bittner and Chris Barton and wife, Shelby; one great-granddaughter, Kendra Staggs; a sister, Peg Rae; two brothers, Dave Binnix and Jim Binnix; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved pets, her dog Cheyenne and her cat Anna.     CUMBERLAND — Beverly Ann McKenzie, 47, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2011 at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, after a long battle with cancer. Born Nov. 1, 1964 in Cumberland; she is the daughter of late Harold “Junior” Binnix Jr. and Shirley (Carder) Binnix. Beverly was a member of the Seventh Day of Adventist Church and loved God. She loved being a mother and wife to her children and husband. Beverly always enjoyed welcoming Gary home from his long trips on the road as a truck driver. Surviving in addition to her mother, is her husband of 27 years, Gary McKenzie, Cumberland; children, Dana Edward and her husband Christopher, Gary McKenzie Jr., Jennifer Engle and husband Roy, Megan McKenzie and Brittany McKenzie, all of Cumberland; grandchildren, Alexis Edwards, Gary McKenzie III and Bradley Engle; a sister, Cindy Evans; and numerous nieces and nep-hews. Family and friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home P.A., 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Friday, Nov. 25, 2011 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Durst Funeral Home at 1 p.m. with Pastor Scott Shafer officiating. Interment will be in the Emmanuel United Methodist Cemetery. The family requests memorial donations be directed to Durst Funeral Home to help defray final expenses.
