MANCHESTER — Michael Lee McKenzie, age 22, of Manchester, died suddenly on Feb. 20, 1999, at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma. Born May 10, 1976, in Cumberland, he was the son of William Paul and Rosemary Arnone McKenzie Jr., Manchester. He was the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James Arnone, Frostburg, and Mrs. Anne V. McKenzie, Cumberland, and the late William P. McKenzie Sr. He was a graduate of North Carroll High School, Class of 1994. He was a warehouse worker for Carroll County Foods. He was a past member of the board of directors of G.B.B.A., and was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church, Westminster. Surviving in addition to his parents and grandparents are his sister, Rebecca Lynne McKenzie, Manchester; and his brother, Kevin M. McKenzie, Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John’s Catholic Church, 43 Monroe St., Westminster, on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Meadow-branch Cemetery, Westminster. Friends may call at the Eckhart Funeral Chapel, 3296 Chamal Drive, Manchester, on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. If desired, contributions may be made to St. John’s Catholic Church Building Fund, 43 Monroe St., Westminster, MD 21157.
