    David McFarlane, 44, of 705 Gephart Drive, died suddenly yesterday in University Hospital, Baltimore. He had been in ill health one year. A native of Rawlings, he was a son of the late William R and Clara (McKenzie) McFarlane. He was a member of the Methodist Church, Fort Cumberland Post 13, American Legion; a veteran of WW II and was employed by the Kelly-Springfield Tire Company. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Helen Kershen) McFarlane; a son, John Michael McFarlane, at home; a daughter, Melva Suzanne McFarlane, at home; three brothers, Arch, James and Samuel McFarlane, all of this city, and two sisters, Mrs. Arthur Ellis and Mrs. George Paulus, both of this city. The body will be brought to the George Funeral Home here today. Cumberland Evening Times, Sunday, April 14, 1957
