Josephine MCKENZIE (Lawrence E.-3, Hilleary Aloysius-2, Samuel J.-1) was born about 1919 in Pekin, Allegany Co., Maryland. She died on 21 Sep 1969 in Cumberland, Allegany Co., Maryland. Barton - Mrs. Josephine Chaney, 50, wife of Dayton L. Chaney, of here, died yesterday at Sacred Heart Hospital, where she had been a patient for over a week. Born at Pekin, she was a daugbter of the late Lawrence and Catherine (Nolan) McKenzie. Surviving are two daughters, Miss Rose Ann Chaney, Pontiac, Mich., and Miss Josephine Chaney, at home; two brothers, Joseph McKenzie, Barton, and Edward McKenzie, Aliquippa, Pa.; and five sisters, Mrs. Mary Timney, Pontiac; Mrs. Wilhelmina Johnson, Flintstone; Mrs. Rose Mary O'Haver and Mrs. Angeline Whiteman, both of Pekin, and Mrs. Jennie Kenealy, Keyser. The body is at the Boal Memorial Chapel, where friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. A requiem mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Gabriel's Catholic Church, with interment in Mt. View Cemetery, Moscow Mills.
