July 05, 2009, Cumberland Times-News ~ STEVENSVILLE — Jeanetta Elizabeth Yoder, of Stevensville, died Sunday, July 5, 2009, at Pleasant View Nursing Home, Mount Airy. She was born in Frostburg, the daughter of the late James H. and Jeanette F. (Painter) McKenzie. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Frederick Yoder, and two infant daughters. Mrs. Yoder was a Catholic by faith and was a retired food preparation worker for Stewarts Department Store. She is survived by two daughters, Geraldine Cook, of Carlisle, Pa., and Vickie Lee Tabler, of Mapleton Depot, Pa.; two sisters, Imogene Snyder, of Pittsburgh, and Joy Perkins, of Frostburg; six grandchildren, Terri Cook, Janette Holliday and husband Frank, Doug Tabler and wife Sherry, Joe Cook and wife Kathy, Cliff Cook and wife Jackie and Cole Tabler and wife Kim; nine great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Home Inc. 9168 Mason-Dixon Hwy., Salisbury, Pa., on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. A Catholic prayer service will be held on Wednesday in the funeral home at 11 a.m. with Deacon Bill Underhill officiating. Interment will be in Salisbury Cemetery. She was born in Frostburg, Allegany Co., Maryland.
