    John Olin WINEBRENNER and Grace Viola STEVEY were married on 27 Aug 1907 in First English Baptist Church, Frostburg, Maryland. Mr. John O. Winebrenner and Miss Gracie Steavy (sic), both of Mt. Savage, were united in marriage at the parsonage of the First English Baptist Church at noon yesterday by the Rev. Edward C. Allard, assisted by the Rev. R. D. Stephenson. Savage, she was the daughter of the late John Olen and Grace B. (Stevey) Winebrenner. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Carl Edward Snyder; two sisters: Pearl Winebrenner and Savanna Winebrenner; and one brother, Albert Winebrenner. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. Surviving are two sons: Carl Joseph Snyder, at home, and Francis L. Snyder, and wife, Donna, Cumberland; two daughters: Rose Mary Snyder, at home, and Virginia Reda Colgan, Philadelphia; 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren; one brother: John A. Winebrenner and wife, Mary E., Frostburg; and two sisters, Rita Bennett, and Gladys M. Swauger, Frostburg. Friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home, P.A., 60 W. Main St., Frostburg, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael's Church on Friday 10:00 a. m. with Msgr. Paul A. Byrnes as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Michael's Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandchildren: Jeffrey and Matthew Snyder, Eric and James Colgan, and Dale and Daniel Snyder. Burial was in the church cemetery. The young woman is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Owen [sic, John Olin] Winebrenner and the following brothers and sisters, Bertha, Rheta, Flossie, John and Albert Winebrenner, all of this city.     FROSTBURG — John Allen Winebrenner, 81, of Washington Street, died Friday, October 6, 2006, at Sacred Heart Hospital. Born August 27, 1925, in Frostburg, he was the son of the late John and Grace (Stevey) Winebrenner. He also was preceded in death by one son, John Allen Winebrenner, Jr. and a sister, Bertha Snyder and a brother, Albert Winebrenner. Mr. Winebrenner was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Frostburg, and was employed for 37 years at the Kelly Springfield Tire Co. He was also a member of the Frostburg Eagles # 1273. Surviving are his wife Mary (Kunkle) Winebrenner; two sons Robert E. Winebrenner and wife Delma, Lonaconing, and James Richard Winebrenner, Cresaptown; one daughter Carol Ann Isner and husband Cecil, Beverly, WV; 9 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Rita Bennett, Frostburg and Gladys Swauger, Frostburg, and a close niece, Rosemary Snyder, Frostburg. Friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home, P.A. on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday, Oct. 9, 2006, at 10 a.m. with the Rev.     Carl Joseph Snyder, 85, of Frostburg, passed away Monday, Aug. 27, 2018, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center. Born April 16, 1933, in Borden Mines, Mr. Snyder was the son of the late Carl Edward Snyder and Bertha Ellen (Winebrenner) Snyder. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Margaret Snyder; and a daughter, Deborah Ann Robinson. Carl attended Beall High School and was a former member of the Maryland National Guard. He retired from the Kelly Springfield Tire Company and then worked as a Deputy Sheriff for 15 years with the Allegany County Sheriff's Office. Carl was a member of Divine Mercy Parish, Saint Michael's Catholic Church, Frostburg, MD. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved woodworking, building things with his hands. He was a very devoted grandfather. Carl is survived by his daughters, Danette Close, Fort Ashby, W.Va., and Holly Evans and husband, Leo, Frostburg; and his sons, Kerry Snyder and Virginia Marie, Cresaptown, Kevin Snyder and wife, Robin, Carlisle, Pa., Daniel Snyder and wife, Kelly, Cumberland, and Dale Snyder, Columbia, Ky.; He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Rose Mary Snyder, Frostburg, Francis Snyder and wife, Donna Lou, Cumberland, and Virginia Colgan, Holmes, Pa.; as well as 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial mass will be held at Divine Mercy Parish, Saint Michael's Catholic Church, 44 East Main Street, Frostburg, MD 21532 on Friday, Aug. 31, 2018, at 10 a.m. Friends will be received at the church one hour prior to the service. The family requests memorial contributions be made in Carl's name to the charity of choice. The family would like to give a special thank you to Rose Mary Snyder for the devoted and loving care she gave to Carl. He is survived by his daughter, Sam Donaldson and husband, Keith; granddaughter, Sage Donaldson; brother, Rick Winebrenner and wife, Beth of LaVale; sister, Carol Isner and husband, Cec of Elkins, W.Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
