Earl E. Garlitz, 73, of Star Route, Grantsville, Md., died November 17, 1981 in Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md. He was born in Avilton, and was a son of the late Richard and Susan (Blocher) Garlitz. He is survived by his widow, Hazel V. (Crowe) Garlitz. He was a veteran of World War II and was retired from the Garrett County Roads Department. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home where services were conducted with the Rev. George E. Baughman officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Methodist Cemetery. The Republic, Meyersdale, November 26, 1981
