Edgar W. Crowe, 77, of Lonaconing RD 1, Md. died April 2, 1981, in Frostburg Community Hospital, Md. He was born in New Germany, and was a son of the late Stewart and Louvinia (Duckworth) Crowe. He was a member of the Methodist Church. He was a retired employee of the Garrett County Roads Department. He is survived by his widow, Ruth (Chaney) Crowe; a step-daughter, Mrs. Lois Rounds, Star Route, Grantsville, Md.; a brother, Lee Crowe, Lonaconing RD 1, Md.; a sister, Mrs. Hazel Garlitz, Star Route, Frostburg, Md.; and four step-grandchildren. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, Md. where services were conducted with the Rev. Connell Chaney officiating. Interment will be in the New Germany Methodist Cemetery. The Republic, April 9, 1981
