Dennis Patrick Miltenberger, 19, of RD 2, Knobley Road, Keyser, W.Va., died Tuesday. Born in Cumberland July 7, 1964, he was a son of Robert V. Miltenberger and Barbara Ellen (Dayton) Miltenberger. He resided with his parents. Mr. Miltenberger was a student at Potomac State College, Keyser. A 1982 graduate of Frankfort High School, he was on the football team there and was a member of the National Honor Society. He was named to Who’s Who in American High Schools, and was a member of the Church of the Annunciation at Fort Ashby, W.Va. Surviving besides his parents are a brother, Joel Edward Miltenberger, at home; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Margaret McKenzie Miltenberger, LaVale; and his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne K. Dayton. Short Gap. Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A mass of Christian burial will be held Friday at 9 a.m. at the Church of the Annunciation. Interment will follow in Fort Ashby Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Cary Cover, Brett Scott, Mark White, Barry Dayton, Todd Flanagan and Timothy Winfield. A Christian wake will be held at the funeral home Thursday at 8p.m. Cumberland Evening Times, February 15, 1984
