- Jackson Everett Buehner Minnick, of Frostburg, passed on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2019.
Born Oct. 2, 2019, he was the son of Andrew Minnick and Katie Buehner of Frostburg.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Raymond Minnick, Robert and Frances Buehner, and Earl and Barbara Schlegel.
Jackson was loved by all who met him in his short days and will be loved forever in our hearts and minds.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by grandparents, Edward and Sandra Buehner, Plum, Pa., Mark and Traci Minnick, Grantsville, Gayle and Samuel Lowdermilk, Terra Alta, W.Va.; great-grandparents, Mary Minnick, Frostburg, Glenn and Diane Twigg, Celina, Ohio, and Joyce and Wayne Smith, Fort Ashby, W.Va.; aunts, Rachel Buehner, Golden, Col., and Jennifer Lowdermilk, Grantsville; uncles, Tyler Minnick, Accident, Ryan (Abbey) Finzel, Frostburg, Adam Finzel, San Francisco, Calif., Lincoln (Ashley) Lowdermilk, Grantsville; and a myriad of cousins, friends and loved ones.
Friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Monday, Nov. 18, 2018, from 5 to 7 p.m., and at Frostburg United Methodist Church on Tuesday, Nov. 19, from 10 a.m. to noon.
Funeral services will be held at the church at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 19, with the Revs. Ben and Courtney Erzkus officiating.
We mourn the potential in and possibilities of Jackson's life. We grieve the loss of what we longed to see through him. We anticipated his first steps, his first words, the booboos that needed a kiss, the friendships he would develop, his voice lifted in song, and the lives he would change beyond our own.
