- CUMBERLAND — Ryan Scott Emerick, 26, of Cumberland, passed away Sunday, Dec. 6, 2020. Born Sept. 7, 1994, in Cumberland, Ryan was the son of Pamela J. (Driver) Emerick and partner, Mike Dixon, and Brian G. Emerick and wife, Tammy. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Genevieve Driver; and his grandfather, Ronald 'Tojo' Emerick. Ryan was a 2012 graduate of Fort Hill High School, where he was a proud member of the marching band. Besides his parents, Ryan is survived by his sister, Kayla Emerick and partner, Benjamin Rockarts; his stepbrother, Donald 'DJ' Armentrout; and his grandparents, Daniel Driver and Sandra 'S' Emerick. He also leaves behind his aunts and uncles, Keith Emerick (Amy), Chris Emerick (Andrea), Ronda Baker (Pat), Donna Shipley (Doug), Dennis Driver (Amy), and Michael Driver; and many cherished cousins and friends who Ryan cared deeply for. Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, on Friday, Dec. 11, 2020, from 4 to 7 p.m. A service will follow at 7 p.m. Cumberland Times-News, December 9, 2020
