- FROSTBURG - Catherine Cecelia Blank, 53, of Reisterstown, formerly of Eckhart, died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 1991, at her residence. Born May 20, 1937, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Mary Alice (Sandwick) Lynch. She was preceded in death by one son, Steven Blank, and three brothers, Paul Lynch, Vincent Lynch and Patrick Lynch. Mrs. Blank was a supervisor for the State of Maryland’s Department of Safety and Corrections. She attended St. Michael’s School and was a 1955 graduate of Catholic Girls Central High School in Cumberland. She was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church, Westminster. Survivors include her husband, Philip E. Blank, three sons, Philip Allen Blank, Mount Savage; Randy W. Blank, White Marsh, Md.; Joseph M. Blank, Baltimore County; and one granddaughter, Lauren Marie Blank. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A Christian wake service will be held there Thursday at 3:30p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Michael’s Catholic Church by Msgr. John L. Reinsfelder. Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Mount Savage. Cumberland Times-News, Thursday, February 14, 1991
