- CRESAPTOWN - Brian "Beaker" Kevin Lease, 54, of Cresaptown, died Nov. 18, 2019, at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
Born Aug. 7, 1965, in Cumberland, he was the son of the late James Lewis and Lois Jean (Decker) Lease. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Samuel and Anna (McKenzie) Lease and Floyd and Verona (Brant) Decker; uncles and aunts, Sam Lease, Marie Lease, Eva Jean Goldsworthy, JoAnn Hill, and Wanda Shirk. Brian graduated from Allegany High School. He took care of commercial accounts for Advance Auto Parts in LaVale. Brian belonged to the Mason-Dixon Street Rod Association. He enjoyed watching Westerns on TV. His favorite teams were the Denver Broncos and the Pittsburgh Pirates. Survivors include his brothers, Andrew Lewis Lease and Scott Alan Lease Sr.; a nephew, Scott Alan Lease Jr.; great nephews, Bentley Charles Lease, Gavin James Lease, Talan Parker Lease, and Jacob Fisher; and cousins Timothy Lease, Debbie Robey, Beth McDonald, Becky Lowdermilk, Lorie Simpson, John Hill, Margie Grogg, and Betty Metz. Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., Cumberland, on Monday. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m in the funeral home with Rev. James Watson, OFM, Cap officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park. The family expresses a special thank you to Ruby Memorial Hospital CVICU for the kind, compassionate care provided to Brian. Memorial contributions may be made to the CVICU, WVU Foundation, P.O.
