Crosten, 34, of Frostburg, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013 at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center. Born Dec. 9, 1978 in Cumberland, he is the son of the late Charley and Sandy Crosten. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister, Kelly Crosten. Surviving him are his wife, Lisa (Thorn) Crosten; son and best friend, Chuckie Crosten; three brothers, Wayne and wife Hilda, LaVale, Mike, Cumberland, Jeff wife Sandy, Hyndman, Pa.; brothers-in-law, William Shaffer and Phillip Thorn; sisters-in-law, Miranda Slater and Kelly Thorn; half-brother and sister, Charles and Sharon Crosten; mother and father-in-law, Nadine and Lewis Slater; nieces and nephews, Kate Green, Sophia Thorn, Jeffery, Samantha, Jordyn, Kamron and Peyton Crosten; very special friend, Steve Conners. Funeral services will be held at Durst Funeral Home P.A., 57 Frost Ave, Frostburg, on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013 at 4 p.m. with Diane Smith officiating. Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. prior to the service. Charles will be cremated following the services in accordance with his wishes.
