  Notes	HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Mary Elizabeth Bolden, 82, formerly of LaVale, Md., and recently of Huntington, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 7, 2011, at the Hospice of Huntington. Born on July 17, 1928, in Meyersdale, Pa., she was the daughter of the late William Baer and Mary E. Cozzins Baer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene G. Bolden. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Ruth Cogan and Martha Baer Fike; and brothers, Byron Baer, Harold Baer, “Cubby” Baer, James Baer and William Baer. She was the last surviving sibling. Mrs. Bolden worked as a lab technician at Memorial Hospital in Cumberland for 28 years. She was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and was a member of the LaVale Lionettes. She was also a member of the LaVale United Methodist Church. Surviving are her son, David Eugene Bolden, Lignum, Va.; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Fischer and husband James of Huntington; granddaughter, Step-hanie Fischer; grandson, Robert Fischer and wife Natalie; and soon-to-be born great- grandson, Noah Fischer. Friends will be received at Hafer Chapel of the Hills, 1302 National Highway, LaVale, on Wednesday, March 9, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Bernadette Ross officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the LaVale United Methodist Church, 565 National Highway, LaVale, MD 21502.
