- FROSTBURG Hans Lemon Richardson, 95, of Frostburg, passed away Thursday, Aug. 31, 2017, at his home surrounded by his family. Born Feb. 10, 1922, in Belfast, Ireland, Mr. Richardson was the son of the late Samuel James Richardson and Edith (McClanahan) Richardson. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, William, Thomas, S. James, and Jack Richardson. A United States Army/Air Corps Veteran, Hans was a self-employed sewing machine repairman and a beekeeper for over 30 years. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Dorothy J. Richardson; and his children, Evan J. Richardson, Hans Richardson, and Jean Gilmore. He also leaves behind his brother, Robert Louis Richardson and wife, Thelma; his grandchildren, Steve Sibiski, Staci J. Hammond, and Sherri Sibiski; his great-grandchildren, Logan Sibiski, Adelina Sibiski, Olivia Sibiski, Bodhi Hammond, and Sasha Hammond; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 11515 Davis Farm Lane, SW, Frostburg, on Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017, at 1 p.m. The family would like to give a special thank you for the loving care provided by the Hospice workers, Jeanie, Kris, Sheila, and Angie.
