- LONACONING — Mrs. Eva M. Hughes, 71, Ocean, widow of Michael Hughes, died Tuesday at Frostburg Community Hospital. A native of Garrett County, she was a daughter of the late Lewis E. Winebrenner and Mary M. (Plummer) Winebrenner. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Margaret L. Teets, Baltimore; four brothers, William T. Winebrenner, Shaft; George H. Winebrenner, Detroit; Clarence E. Winebrenner, Cumberland, and Edward Winebrenner, address unknown. Mrs. Hughes was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Midland, and the Sodality of the Church. Friends will be received at the Eichhorn Funeral Home today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The rosary will be recited at 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Church at 10. a.m. Friday.
