- FROSTBURG - Daniel C. Clites, 65, Finksburg, died Thursday in St. Joseph's General Hospital in Peterborough, Ontario. He had been vacationing, at Rice Lake in Canada. Born in Ellerslie, he was the son of the late Daniel C. and Anna (Madden) Clites. Surviving are his widow, Julia (Keating) Clites, formerly of Frostburg; one son, William Clites, Finksburg; one brother, Edward B. Clites, Hyndman, Pa.; three sisters, Mrs. Katherine C. Jewell, Corriganville; Mrs. Elizabeth Boor, Cumberland; Mrs. Elvia Robertson, Erie, Pa., and six grandchildren. Also surviving are two brother-in-laws, Joseph and Charles Keating, of Frostburg. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, here, tomorrow from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m. by Rev. John Reinsfelder. Interment will be in St. Michael's Cemetery. The Cumberland News, Saturday, July 17, 1976
