- . LONACONING — William J. Lucas, 86, of here, died yesterday at his residence. Born in Carlos, he was a son of the late William J. and Anna (Winner) Lucas. He was a retired coal miner. Mr. Lucas is survived by his widow, Mrs. Emma (Evans) Lucas, two daughters, Mrs. Shirley Patton, of here and Mrs. Ada Kimble, Barton; four sisters, Mrs. Laura Hitchins, and Mrs. Marthaa Schulten, both of Frostburg; Mrs. Isabella Gray, Midland; and Mrs. Ina Getty, Meyersdale; two brothers, George Getty and Eugene Getty, both of Frostburg, and three grandchildren. The body is at the Eichhorn Funeral Home where friends will be received today and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted Tuesday in the funeral home at 3 p.m. with Rev. John Price officiating, and interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park. The Cumberland Sunday Times, May 10, 1970 [The brothers are actually George Lucas and Eugene Lucas, not Getty.
