- FROSTBURG — George R. Dutch" Drew, 44, died this morning at his home in Midlothian. He was a son of Mrs. Annie Drew, Midlothian, and the late Fred Drew. A veteran of World War II, Mr. Drew was a member of Company C, Maryland National Guard unit in Cumberland, with which he was supply sergeant. Mr. Drew held membership in the Shaft Volunteer Fire Company, American Legion and Loyal Order of Moose. Surviving, besides his mother, are his widow, Mrs. Rosalie (Layman) Drew; a son, Kirk T. Drew; a daughter, Serena M. Drew, both at home; two step-sons, Raymond and Frank Parry; five brothers, Ernest and William Drew, both of Midlothian; Edward Drew, Phoenix, Arizona; Alfred Drew, Frostburg, and Sgt. Ralph Drew, with the Army at Fort Meade, and three sisters, Mrs. Nellie Allen, Woodland; Mrs. Charlton Dodds, Lonaconing, and Mrs. Wilbert LaRue, Frostburg. The body will remain at the Durst Funeral Home here where services will be conducted Sunday at 2:30 p. m. by Rev. Louis E. Emerick. Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.
