- Lula Grace "Lou" (Weaver) Coleman, 90, passed away at the Dawnview Center on Friday, Jan. 20, 2017. Born, in Wiley Ford, on April 28, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Daisy (Baldwin) Weaver. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert L. Coleman; a daughter, Patricia Miller; brothers, Lee, Lawrence, Lory, and Ralph Weaver; sisters, Lillian O'Brien and Linda Silber. Lou had been employed by the Celanese Fiber Corporation in the bobbing department. She was a homemaker and mother who was a very active member of the Old Furnace Church of the Brethren. Lou is survived by her son, Lonnie S. Coleman and wife, Karen, Fort Ashby; three grandchildren, Gregory S. Miller, Shermans Dale, Pa., Jesse A. Coleman and Daniel E. Coleman, Fort Ashby; brothers, John Weaver and wife, Esther, Berkley Springs, and Dale Weaver and wife, Susie, Lakeland, Fla.; and sister, Barbara Barncord, Ridgeley. Family and friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Avenue, Cumberland, on Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2017, from noon to 1 p.m. Funeral and committal services will be conducted at the funeral home at 1 p.m. with Pastor Ed Weaver officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Gregory S. Miller, Jesse A. Coleman, Daniel E. Coleman, Terry Moore, and Curtis Moreland. Published on January 21, 2017 in Cumberland Times News
