  Notes	Shirley Elizabeth Lashley, 87, of Cumberland, passed away Saturday, Nov. 5, 2016, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center. Born June 3, 1929, in Cumberland, Mrs. Lashley was the daughter of the late Henry L. Krausz and Leda E. (Crowe) Krausz. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Elmer C. Lashley, 2000; and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. A graduate of Allegany High School, class of 1948, Shirley was a member of the McKinley Chapter 12 Order of the Eastern Star, the Cresaptown Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary Aerie 2883; and a former member of the Cumberland Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary Aerie 245. She also bowled with the American Legion Mixed Bowling League, where she served as the league treasurer. Shirley is survived by her daughters, Diana M. Agnew and husband, Dan, Burlington, W.Va., and Terri G. Danner and husband, Tom, LaVale; a very special grandson, Adam K. Danner, Oldtown; along with two dear childhood friends, Billie Shober and Doris Hansrote. Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, on Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A memorial service will be conducted at the funeral home at 1 p.m. with her son-in-law, the Reverend Daniel Agnew, officiating. Interment will be in the Maryland State Veterans Cemetery at Rocky Gap. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Allegany County Animal Shelter.
