- Genevieve G. Minnick, 66, a resident of Frostburg Village Nursing Home, formerly of Eckhart, Md., died June 13, 1988 at her residence. She was born April 24, 1922 in Garret County, the daughter of the late Floyd T. and Annie (Wilhelm) Wilt. Her husband, George C. Minnick, died in May 1964. She was a member of Eckhart United Methodist Church, the Women's Society of Christian Service of the church, and the Eckhart Homemakers. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Rose Marie Fresh, Eckhart, Md.; two sons, George J. Minnick, Delaware; and Emory F. Minnick, Grantsville, Md.; two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Lapp and Mrs. Viola Blubaugh, both Eckhart, Md. Six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends were received at the Durst Funeral Home, Frostburg, Md., Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. to 9 pm. Graveside services will be conducted Thursday at 10 a.m. in Eckhart Cemetery by the Rev. George M. Harpold. Interment will follow the service. The Republic, June 16, 1988
