- June 13 - Arthur C. Wilt, 26, is dead, and John Leatherman, 23, is in critical condition at Potomac Valley Hospital, as the result of an automobile accident that occurred about 6 o'clock last night on New Creek Drive about two miles south of Keyser, when a truck owned by the West Virginia Pulp and Paper Company ran into the coupe owned and driven by Mr. Leatherman. [article continues] Wilt was married and resided at 74 Cloud Street. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Wilt, and by his mother, Mrs. Fannie Wilt, Westernport.
