- CUMBERLAND — Viola Blanche (Wilt) Bray, 91, of Cumberland Nursing Home, formerly of Oldtowne Manor, Cumberland, died Sunday, Oct 9, 1994, at the nursing home. Born Dec. 18, 1902, in Swanton, she was the daughter of the late John Albert Wilt and the late Zelphia (Blocher) Wilt. She was also preceded in death by her husband, L.C. Bray in 1952. Mrs. Bray was a member of First United Methodist Church but attended Memorial Baptist Church. Surviving are her brother, Harvey Wilt, Oakland; several nieces and nephews and numerous cousins and friends. Friends will be received at the Merritt-Adams Funeral Home. Services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dennis A. Michael officiating. Interment will be in Philo Cemetery, Westernport.
