- Services will be conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Mount Zion United Methodist Church, Star Route, Frostburg, for Harry V. Wilhelm, 42, of RD 1, Lonaconing. He was fatally injured Wednesday afternoon when the pulpwood truck he was driving overturned on State Route 36 near Moscow. The Rev. Joseph Upole will officiate at the services. Interment will be in the Blocher Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Timmy Wilhelm, Harold Fike Jr., Kenny Green, Ronnie Wilhelm, Leonard Wilhelm III, and Gibby Wilhelm Jr. The body will be taken to the church at noon Saturday. The family requests that memorials be directed to the donor’s church or to a favorite charity. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville. Born in Avilton Oct. 30, 1944, Mr. Wilhelm was a son of Leonard J. Wilhelm Sr., RD 1, Lonaconing, and the late Mary E.J. (Crowe) Wilhelm. He was a self-employed timber cutter and farmer in partnership with a brother, Gilbert Wilhelm, Lonaconing. Mr. Wilhelm was a member of Mount Zion United Methodist Church. Besides his father and brother, he is survived by his widow, Sharon K. (Miller) Wilhelm; five sons, Harry Wayne Wilhelm and Tracey L. Wilhelm, both of Westernport; Brad O. Wilhelm, Chad O. Wilhelm and Chase E. Wilhelm, all at home; one daughter, Holly K. Wilhelm, at home; six other brothers, Leonard Wilhelm Jr., Ray Wilhelm, Ronald Wilhelm and Robert Wilhelm, all of Lonaconing; Olin Wilhelm, Wickliffe, Ohio; Dallas Wilhelm, Barton. Also surviving are nine sisters, Twila Fike, Mildred Husselbaugh and Susie Kamp, all of Lonaconing; Hazel Layman, Cumberland; Jean Miller, Youngstown, Ohio; Helen Michael, Westernport; Lois Rowe, Connie Burdock and Sheila Baker, all of Frostburg.
