He was a member of Summit Mills Church of the Brethren. Surviving are his wife, the former Margaret Layman; two daughters, Mrs. Patsy Blocher, Grantsville; and Mrs. Gloria Hitchens, Radcliff, Ky.; three grandchildren; a brother, Herbert Miller and a sister, Miss Mary Emma Miller, of Meyersdale RD 1. Funeral service was conducted Saturday afternoon in Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, with Rev. Evelyn Bowman officiating. Interment in Grantsville Cemetery. Meyersdale Republican, September 27, 1973
