  Notes	March 23, 2001 - Cumberland Times-News - FROSTBURG -- Nellie Virginia Winebrenner, 89, of 18999 National Pike, Frostburg, (Garrett County), died Wednesday, March 21, 2001, at Devlin Manor Nursing Home, Cumberland. Born Aug. 18, 1911, in Garrett County, she was a daughter of the late James and Laura (Layton) Winebrenner. She was also preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters, Alice Hetz, Myrtle Winebrenner, Howard, James, Harry, Clayton, Gurnie, Leonard, Francis and Roy Winebrenner. Miss Winebrenner was a retired seamstress for Flushing Shirt Factory, Grantsville, and was a member of Mount Zion United Methodist Church. She is survived by one brother, Grant Winebrenner, Grantsville; a number of nieces and nephews, including Darrell Winebrenner and special friends, Carol Meyers, Doris McKenzie and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Cutter. Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., Grantsville, on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted in the funeral home on Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Steven Lightner officiating. Interment will be in Mount Zion Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
