- Howard William Winebrenner, 72, of 462 Baltimore Avenue, was pronounced dead on arrival yesterday at Sacred Heart Hospital. He had been in ill health five years. Born in Frostburg, he was a son of the late James C. and Laura (Clayton) Winebrenner. Mr. Winebrenner was a retired carman for the B&O Railroad. Surviving are his widow, Dorothy C. (Foreman) Winebrenner; three sisters, Miss Nellie Winebrenner, Long Stretch, Frostburg; Mrs. Myrtle Geist, Meyersdale, and Mrs. Alice Wade, Stoyesburg, Pa., and six brothers, Francis, Leonard, Grant and Harry Winebrenner, all of Long Stretch; James Winebrenner, Los Angeles, Calif., and Roy Winebrenner, Zihlman. The body is at the Scarpelli Funeral Home where services will be conducted Thursday at 1 p. m. by Rev. Robert Moales. Burial will be in Rose Hiil Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Alvie J. Reckley, John Mikowski, James E. Keefer, William F. Staarman, Walter Horworth and Donah Trexler. All are members of the Brotherhood of Railroad Carmen of America.
