- CUMBERLAND - Nellie Mae Drumm, 97, of Allegany County Nursing Home, died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 1998, at the nursing home. Born July 30, 1901, in Frostburg, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Clara (Crowe) Dean. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy F. Drumm; and 10 brothers and sisters. Mrs. Drumm was a homemaker. She was Roman Catholic by faith. An avid bridge player, she was a member of several local bridge clubs and the Western Maryland Bridge Club. She was a former member of the HAP-O-HAPPY. Surviving are three daughters, Elaine Palmer, Betty Mullan, both of Cumberland, and Bobbie McGeady, Carpendale, W.Va.; six grandchildren, Patricia E. Sansom and husband, Ben, Michael F. Mullan, all of Cumberland, Robert F. Mullan Sr. and wife, Deborah, Tipton, Pa., Debra M. Simmons and husband, Brett, and Thomas O. McGeady Jr. and Ann Bohrer, Diane M. Sansom, all of Cumberland; seven great-grandchildren, Christopher W. Sansom, Nicholas Mullan, Daniel P. Mullan, Michael Mullan Jr. and wife, Heather, Mickey C. McGeady, John T. McGeady and Jesyca A. McGeady; and two great-great-grandchildren, Austin M. Mullan and Shyra A. Mullan. Funeral services will be conducted at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., on Friday at 11 a.m. with Mr. Frank Werner officiating. Visitation will be private. Interment will be in SS.
