Turtle Creek, Pa. - Joseph W. Winner Sr., 82, of 513 Pennsylvania Avenue, Monroeville, a native of Frostburg, died at his home Saturday. He was born in Frostburg and worked in that area as a coal miner before moving to the Westinghouse Valley area, where he was employed as a machinist in the Westinghouse Electric Company plant for 27 years, prior to his retirement in 1943. He was a member of the Westinghouse Veterans Association. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lillian Simmons and Mrs. Dorothy Miller; three sons, Joseph Wm. Winner, Jr., Samuel J . Winner and Clifton Winner; five sisters, Mrs. Annie Lucas, Mrs. Clara Youngerman, Miss Agnes Winner, Mrs. Bernice Holland and Mrs. Margaret McKenzie; two brothers, Harry and Frank Winner; eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The body is at the Jobe Funeral Home, Turtle Creek, and will remain there until 2 p.m. tomorrow when services will be conducted in McMasters Methodist Church here.
