Born in Grahamtown, he was a son of the late Louis and Amanda (Michael) Plummer. He was a self-employed carpenter and a member of Frostburg United Methodist Church. Surviving are his widow, Delilah (DeVore) Plummer; a daughter, Mrs. Jane Morgan, Grahamtown; two sisters, Mrs. Joseph Fatkin, Mrs. Victor DeVore, Grahamtown; two brothers, Harry Plummer, Everett and Theodore Plummer, Everett, Pa.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The body is at the Hager-Sowers Funeral Home, where friends will be received from 7 until 9 p.m. today and from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. tomorrow. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Frostburg United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society. The Cumberland News, December 1, 1976
