- Funeral services for James Oscar Long, 48 years o!d, former Western Maryland Railway conductor, who died yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles A. Gable, 13 South Front street, will be held at 1:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon from his daughter's home. Burial will be in McLuckie Cemetery, Frostburg. Beside his daughter, Mr. Long is survived by his widow, Mrs. Nellie A. Long, his father, Lewis F. Long, Elkins, W. Va., two sons, James L. and Owen C. Long, and five sisters and a brother — Mrs. Molly Scott, Baltimore; Mrs. Melissa Rohrer, Elkins; Mrs. George Layman, Shaft; Mrs. Alice Mc- Nelty, Bolivar; Mrs. Fannie Goodrich, Cumberland, and Lee Long, Baltimore. He was a member of the Centre Street Methodist Episcopal Church, and Rev. Howard E. Thompson, the pastor, will officiate at the funeral services. Ha was a member of McKaig Lodge No. 446, Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, and the Order of Owls. The Cumberland Evening Times, May 13, 1926
