- Charles E. Sanders, 80, Baltimore, formerly of Meyersdale, died Saturday, Feb. 12, in Baltimore. Born Feb. 26, 1891, in Beavertown, he was a son of the late Israel and Mary (Creek) Sanders. He is a retired B and O Railroad station agent, with 48 years of service, 20 of which were in Meyersdale. Mr. Sanders is a former member of Meyersdale Rotary Club and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Surviving are his wife, the former Estella Crowe; two children, Edward (Jack) Sanders, Roanoke, Va.; and Mrs. William Davies, Baltimore; also four grandchildren. Mass was celebrated Wednesday morning in Sts. Philip and James Catholic Church, Meyersdale. Interment in the parish cemetery, under the direction of Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale.
