- LONACONING - Joshua J. Munson, 84, a resident of Pekin, died yesterday, at Miners Hospital, Frostburg. Born in Hancock, he was a son of the late John and Columbia (Simons) Munson. His wife, Eliza (Jackson) Munson, preceded him in death. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Leroy Tomlinson, Frostburg, and Miss Daisy Munson, Pekin; three sons, Lester Munson, Pekin; Melvin Munson, Lonaconing, and Virgil Munson, Baltimore; one sister, Miss Daisy Munson, Hancock; and three brothers, Jacob, Charles, and John Munson, all of Hancock. The body is at the Eichhorn Funeral Home where friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. Services will be conducted Friday at 2 p. m. at the funeral home by Rev. Charles Russell and interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Moscow. The Cumberland Evening Times, November 7, 1962
