Notes |
- David Beeman Jr., 41 years old, died Wednesday morning, following injuries received in Mine No. 16 of the Georges Creek Coal Company last Thursday. He was crushed about the head and body by a fall of rock and had remained in an unconscious state until Tuesday, when he revived sufficiently to warrant the hope that he would recover. A relapse followed. He was a native here and had been a coal miner all his life. He was a son of David Beeman Sr. Surviving are his wife, who was Miss Margaret Ross, and five children, Elizabeth, Charles, Lester, John and Lawrence; and five brothers, Jessie, Joseph, John, Samuel and Peter Beeman, and two sisters, Mrs. Edward Green, Lonaconing, and Mrs. Lester Green, Pontiac, Mich.
