The funeral of Harmon Winner, a resident of this city who was found dead in a mine of the Gleason Coal and Coke Company of Gleason, W. Va., Tuesday afternoon, was held from St. Michael's Catholic Church, Thursday morning with high requiem mass, by the Rev. Francis McGraw, of St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Washington, D. C. Burial took place at St. Michael's Cemetery.

WINNER, Harmon
Harmon Winner, aged 60, this place, was found dead Tuesday afternoon in a mine of the Gleason Coal and Coke Company at Gleason, WV where he had been working as a laborer. He was discovered by a car driver in a sitting posture with the carbide lamp on his cap still burning. He seemed all right physically when he entered the mine and the cause of death has not yet been determined.
He is survived by his wife and large family, residing here, and the body will likely be brought home. Mrs. Winner left for Gleason following receipt of the new of her husband's death.
